Three Links To Get You Going
A little more than paranoia, these links give concrete information regarding a conspiracy to reform the world, in order to achieve effective control of the world and to build community and consensus for the Intranational sovereignty of the United Nations.

Gonzales to Defend Patriot Act Renewal
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales is one among many Bush supporters and aides to his Regime that condoned the torture and unethical treatment of Iraqi POW's by our United States Military!

Critics of the USA Patriot Act want the kind of real debate they were denied when the sweeping anti-terrorism law was passed 45 days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales says he's willing to accommodate them, but he wants all the law's expiring provisions to be renewed. Gonzales was headed to Capitol Hill on Tuesday no less determined than his predecessor to defend the Patriot Act against arguments that it intrudes into people's lives. But Gonzales is employing a softer tone than John Ashcroft while making the point that the law has helped prevent another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. "The attorney general has said before that if there are suggestions that can add to the government's ability to root out terrorists and aid us in the war on terror, he will certainly work with Congress to do that," Gonzales spokesman Kevin Madden said. "He looks forward to a healthy discussion about those provisions." Gonzales was invited to testify Tuesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee and before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. FBI Director Robert Mueller, who also wants full reauthorization of the Patriot Act, was to join Gonzales for his Senate appearance. The Patriot Act is the post-Sept. 11 law that expanded the government's surveillance and prosecutorial powers against suspected terrorists, their associates and financiers. Most of the law is permanent, but 15 provisions will expire in December unless renewed by Congress. On the same day Gonzales was to speak to the Senate committee, Sens. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, and Dick Durbin, D-Ill., planned to reintroduce legislation designed to curb major parts of the Patriot Act that they say went too far.

"Cooler heads can now see that the Patriot Act went too far, too fast and that it must be brought back in line with the Constitution," said Gregory Nojeim, associate director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Washington legislative office. The ACLU is part of an unusual coalition of liberal and conservative groups, including the American Conservative Union, that have come together in a joint effort to lobby Congress to repeal key provisions of the Patriot Act. Among the controverisal provisions is a section permitting secret warrants for "books, records, papers, documents and other items" from businesses, hospitals and other organizations. That section is known as the "library provision" by its critics. While it does not specifically mention bookstores or libraries, critics say the government could use it to subpoena library and bookstore records and snoop into the reading habits of innocent Americans. The Bush administration has acknowledged using it only once. But the criticism has led five states and 375 communities in 43 states to pass anti-Patriot Act resolutions, the ACLU says.

Even some Republicans are concerned. Senate Judiciary Chairman Arlen Specter, R-Pa., has suggested it should be tougher for federal officials to use that provision. Gonzales already has agreed to two minor changes to the provision, and was expected to address those Tuesday, a Justice Department official said on condition of anonymity so as not to pre-empt Gonzales' testimony. He will support giving someone who receives a secret warrant under the provision the right to consult a lawyer and challenge the warrant in court, and will back slightly tightening the standard for issuing subpoenas, the official said. Neither change addresses the central concern of opponents, which is that it allows the government to seize records of people who are not suspected terrorists or spies.

Critics say the law allows the government to target certain groups, but the Justice Department counters that no Patriot Act-related civil rights abuses have been proven. Just in case, Craig and Durbin want Congress to curb both expiring and nonexpiring parts of the Patriot Act, including the expiring "library" provision and "sneak and peek" or delayed notification warrants. Those warrants — which will not expire in December — allow federal officials to search suspects' homes without telling them until later. The Justice Department said federal prosecutors have asked for 155 such warrants since 2001. Gonzales also notes that the law has been used in non-terrorism cases. For example, federal officials used it to track over the Internet a woman who ultimately confessed to strangling an 8-months-pregnant woman and cutting the fetus from her womb.

Bush and the mystery of the buldge.

Was President Bush literally channeling Karl Rove in his first debate with John Kerry? That's the latest rumor flooding the Internet, unleashed last week in the wake of an image caught by a television camera during the Miami debate. The image shows a large solid object between Bush's shoulder blades as he leans over the lectern and faces moderator Jim Lehrer.

The president is not known to wear a back brace, and it's safe to say he wasn't packing. So was the bulge under his well-tailored jacket a hidden receiver, picking up transmissions from someone offstage feeding the president answers through a hidden earpiece? Did the device explain why the normally ramrod-straight president seemed hunched over during much of the debate?

Thank you presenttense80 for the info.

America's new nuclear weapons plan!

During the debate between President George W. Bush and his opponent Senator John Kerry it was brought to the attention of the world that the Bush Administration is permitting and funding a program that is in the process of creating and possibly using a new type of nuclear weapon. This new weapon will be 100,000 times more powerful and deadly than the nukes used on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Ironic considering that we used brute force without proper reason to invade Iraq, and collect their weapons. However Iraq never had weapons at that point and time, only remnants of former weapons programs. We are in the middle of creating new, even deadlier weapons; more gruesome than anything we have ever seen. North Korea is in the process of creating new weapons, Iran is in the process of creating new weapons, the former Soviet Union is literally tripping over nuclear weapons components and we take it upon ourselves to invade a sovereign nation that was rumored to have been creating weapons of mass destruction. After the fog lifted we were left with the harsh reality that we made a major miscalculation by our actions. Now we find out that the entire time we are the ones who are creating weapons of mass destruction and we illegally invaded a country that posed as no real threat to the world at that time. America's new nuclear weapons program conveys an entirely new level of global hypocrisy. We need to disarm along with the rest of the world!

Republicans make better Christians. How does this convey Christ?
At the age of 15 I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior; from the age of eight I was brought up in the Christian faith and it still is a very important part of my life and who I am today. I’ve noticed over the past couple of years the on going trend of the Bush Administration and their constant exploitation of the Christian faith. Christianity has become the center piece of this election and the controlled media has painted the Democratic Party as pro-abortion / same sex marriage loving pagans. This stereotype is simply not true; not all Democrats are not like this, as well as not all Republicans are Christian.

I’m 29 now, and I registered for the first time as a Democrat at the age of 26. The 2000 Election changed my entire political outlook forever. I’ve watched the actions and listened to the words of the Bush Administration rather closely and I must say I find their convictions, and actions to be very non-Christian. The fact of the matter is Jesus is one of the biggest Liberal’s of our time. During the days of Christ being Liberal meant being a revolutionist. The word liberal had power, it had meaning; the word Liberal meant movement. Christianity has become the largest established religion in history. The sad reality of this miraculous fact is how dangerous a religion can be when handled irresponsibly; for example the misrepresentation of Islam while throwing us into the forefront of disaster by a handful of extremist radicals on September 11th. We can even go back as far as the Crusades and see how dangerous Christianity can be if it’s corrupted by humanistic understanding. There are hundreds of examples where religion has either developed or destroyed a society. The Salem witch trials, the extermination of dozens of tribes who worshiped pagan gods, and of course the tyranny of Hitler and his Nazi thugs in the name of Christ in order to punish the “Christ killers”. If anyone reading this article has paid attention to the current trend, and how the controlled media has painted the Democrats for their GOP contributors in order to create a more divided nation by destroying the reputation of the Leftists then you should be aware of the problem. Keep in mind that the current Administration supposedly has God on their side.

Keep in mind that the current Administration features a Vice President who feels that it is acceptable to tell a well-established Senator on the floor of Senate to “go f*** himself”. Keep in mind that the current Administration features a President who feels that it’s appropriate to refer to a member of the press as an “a$$hole” during the 2000 Election. This Administration features a President who feels that it is acceptable to mislead the people of this great nation, and to arrogantly launch a pre-empted strike against another country that didn’t pose as an actual threat to us at this point and time without any concern for any other country including our own. If you think that Bush represents the teachings, the compassion, or the philosophy of Jesus Christ then perhaps you need to crack open your Bible and re-introduce yourself to the Lord. Bush’s actions do not represent Christ’s teachings; they represent the ideals of an anti-Christ. Republicans do not make better Christians, and Democrats do not make better sinners. As a society and as a people we have to work together in order to exist in the future, and to survive regardless of what faith we are. When you peel back the layers we are all still American!

Did Flight 77 really hit the Pentagon?
Could it have been a missile? According to actual non-government funded research the Pentagon may have been hit by a missile from a fighter jet. Flight 77 actually flew over a nearby highway and crashed near the Pentagon. The fighter jet was assigned to shoot it down and missed; thus striking the Pentagon. There was never any evidence left behind that would even indicate that an 80 ton passenger plane would have actually crashed there. Furthermore the entry from impact is far too small to have been caused by a Boeing 757. Hundreds of eye witnesses were threatened, questioned, debriefed and discredited after the incident. There were a total of seven other cameras that actually caught the true object that caused the explosion. Those films have never been seen by the public, nor will they ever.

Why I am the way I am.
I am a 29 year old half Native American / half Caucasian Man. I have a four-year degree in Business Management Communications from Ohio University. From the time that I was brought into this world. I was raised as a Republican. I was force-fed their ideology, their methodology, their logic, their side of what was really going on, and oh yes; I was poisoned by the lies. I walked around for 24 years of my life with the pre-conceived notion that everything that I knew to be true was all that there could possibly be. I was the first in line to bash Clinton; I was present during local Republican conventions, I defended Dan Quayle's illiteracy without really reading about it for myself. I believed that abortion in any form was murder (now I can accept life or death situations, but I do not accept it as a method of birth control). Don't get me wrong, I'm still very conservative in many of my views and opinions; however I have unplugged myself from the Neo-Fascist Ultra-Conservative spinning wheel that's known as the Bush Regime. In the 2000 election I voted for the first time as a Democrat; I have to admit, I had that sinking feeling the entire time that I was doing something wrong. The reason I changed my political way of thinking is a direct result of life experiences (try being a college Graduate who's first real job collapses due to a dead economy only to be left without a job for five and half months; then having to take another job that pays much less); becoming informed by sources other than FOX News, and researching everything for myself. While I was in college I took the liberty of drafting an essay on the Appalachian Consumer and the level of poverty that consumes the rural area that I call home. Upon my research my tune quickly changed as I became aware of how Nixon's policies, Reagan's policies and George Bush Sr's policies severely damaged the economic strength and stability of middle and rural America. These men who were our elected officials and claimed to be servants of the people and by the people were standing on the very backs of those who helped to shape this fine land. Now George W. Bush has been handed the same torch to burn us with. I know for a fact that the founding fathers of this country are rolling in their graves as I'm writing this due to their disgust with Bush and his policies; and I know that Bush and his Regime will continue to wrap themselves within a shield of fake morality and Christianity in order to impose our Western Democracy on every country that resists or is deemed as an evil threat. I know that in 2000 the election was bought and paid for my the Corporate American Whore that Bush is sleeping with; my only hope is that his whore will grow weary of their partnership and allow us to have our Democracy back. I will not be voting Bush in 2004!

A history of Conspiracies
An interesting article came up on kuro5hin.org today. It's a four part series dealing with conspiracies and our fascination of them in our society. Makes for a fun read. I'm putting up the first article. I'll be watching k5 for the rest of the articles in the next couple days. I would recommend checking the article out over there and seeing the comments and such.

Conspiracies! Conspiracies All Around Us! (They're Coming To Get Me....) Part One: Jack the Ripper

By Dragomire
Mon Jul 29th, 2002 at 10:57:01 PM EST
Culture

This is a four-part series dealing with the fascination of today's society and conspiracies thought to be put forth by governments, people, extra-terrestrial beings, their pets, etc. One of the most prevalent things about the Information Age, is how fast said information travels. With the advent of the Internet, and its wide adoption by people within their homes, it is literally as easy as a finger press to get the newest information.

In this series, I will focus on 3 main events that have built up innumerable conspiracy theories (and other theories beyond conspiracy) over the years, some theories sounding so ludicrous you wouldn't expect them to be believed...but they are, by some.

Part one will deal with Jack the Ripper, the infamous serial killer of Whitechapel, London, in 1888. Part two will deal with Roswell, New Mexico, and the UFO sighting/downing. Part three will deal with the Kennedy Assassination(s). Part four will deal with the effects these conspiracy theories have on society as a whole, if any, as well as my thoughts on why these theories arise.
Read the article about Jack the RipperCollapse )
